Member Of The Month – VINCENT HOST

 

What inspired you to join Health Mates?

I have been a member since July 2013 . I was first inspired to join Health Mates due to my brother. I saw the positive effects that it was having on his confidence, outlook on life, his general health and I wanted to replicate that for myself.

What is your training routine?

During my time at Health Mates I’ve made use of the ‘free weight’ and cardio section of the gym, which started with having Matt write me up a program when I first joined the gym. I am yet to try any of the classes available, but it is great to know that there is a wide variety of challenges I can pursue if I wanted to.

What have you achieved so far and how has it changed your life?

So far from my time at Health Mates I have achieved my initial goal of increasing strength and staying active. This has had a huge positive impact on my confidence and well being.

What are your goals for the future?

My goals for the future are to keep consistently training so I can further work on my strength. I will also continue to eat right, and combined with my training this will help continue to improve my general health and quality of life.

Do you have any advice to share?

My advice to people that are in the position I was in is to not get disheartened and stay consistent with your diet and training. You will reach the goals you set out to achieve if you continue to keep your mindset; with time and patience you will get there.

I initially did Vincent’s weight program when he was just starting out. Seeing him now I was blown away at just how strong he has become. Vincent’s consistency and discipline in his weight training has been inspiring. He has stuck to his program, and has seen incredible results! He has increased his strength and muscle mass dramatically and safely.
