HOW L ONG H AVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF HEALTH MATES?

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO JOIN HEALTH MATES?
Being big on playing soccer, I found myself to be doing an extreme amount of cardio training. I wanted to join Health Mates to increase strength and power whilst maintaining my cardio regime.
WHAT HAVE YOU A CHIEVED SO FAR, AND HOW HAS IT CHA NGED YOUR LIFE?
When I first started my journey I could only squat 60kg and bench 40kg. with consistent training since April I managed to increase my squats to 140kg and bench 80kg! I have been extremely happy with my progress, gaining 4.5kg of m uscle mass and feel energised and happy every time I step into the gym. A special mention to Matty Brown for assisting me in ac h ieving my goals, especially with injury prevention which has helped me train smarter.
HOW HAS YOUR OUTLO OK ON EXERCISE CHANGED?
Previously my thought process wa s all about cardio and training extremely hard. Since training here I have a more balanced training regime now than ever before. I trust my body and I feel great. Now I understand the old saying: train smarter not harder.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOA LS FOR THE F UTURE?
Learning the art of the dead lift!
WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO IS IN A SIMILAR POSIT ION AS YOU WERE?
Trust the process and be patient.
