Chocolate Cake Without The Guilt
With Easter just around the corner, so too is the thought of chocolate. Try this healthy option Flourless Chocolate Cake without the guilt; it contains much less fat than many common chocolate cake recipes, plus it’s gluten and wheat free. Enjoy!
Flourless Dark Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup packed almond meal
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cup Avocado puree
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180.
- Mix together the almond meal, dark cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- Mix the Avocado puree with the eggs, coconut oil, vanilla and mix until smooth.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until smooth.
- Grease an 8″ round cake pan, and pour in cake batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving so that it has time to set.
